How Small-Group Travel Works When You Join Alone
There is a particular kind of courage in booking a trip by yourself. And a particular kind of relief when you land and someone is already waiting with your name.
The Short Answer
On a small-group trip, you book on your own and travel with a handful of other people who did the same. The itinerary, hotels, transportation, and guides are arranged for you. You bring yourself.
How It Works, Step by Step
You choose a journey and reserve your spot with a deposit.
Before departure, you receive the practical details: what to pack, how to prepare, and what to expect.
You fly in on your own schedule. At Her Getaway Club, a private airport transfer is included for each traveler.
You meet the group at the welcome dinner on the first evening.
From then on, transportation, guides, and experiences are shared, and someone from our team travels with you.
How Big Is a Small Group?
Our journeys bring together 6 to 14 women. It is small enough to fit around one table, and large enough that you will always find someone to talk to.
What If I Don't Know Anyone?
Almost no one does. Most women on our trips join alone, which means everyone arrives open to meeting new people. Shared meals, long drives, and first-time experiences do the rest.
What If I Need Time Alone?
You will have it. Good itineraries leave room to rest, wander, or simply sit with a view. Traveling together does not mean being together every minute.
Quick Answers
Do I have to share a room?
Rooms are shared by default, and a single supplement is available if you prefer your own.
Is small-group travel only for extroverts?
No. A small group is often easier for quieter travelers than a big tour, because conversations happen naturally and at their own pace.
Is it safe to join a group trip alone?
Traveling with a group, local guides, and private transportation is one of the safest ways to explore a new country on your own.
