About Her Getaway Club

  • Her Getaway Club is a women-only travel club that organizes curated small-group trips for women traveling solo. It was founded by Patrícia and Beatriz, a mother and daughter with more than 10 years of experience in travel planning. Our promise is simple: Travel Solo. Never Alone.

  • Our trips are for women only and are designed for women traveling solo. There is no age limit: whether you are 25 or 53, taking your first trip abroad or your fiftieth, you are welcome here, exactly as you are.

  • Absolutely. That is exactly what our journeys are made for. Most women join on their own, and with a small group, shared experiences every day and our team by your side, the group quickly becomes a circle of friends. Travel solo, never alone.

  • Yes. Her Getaway Club is an LGBTQ+ inclusive women’s travel community. We welcome women of all backgrounds and identities, including lesbian, bisexual, queer, and trans women, on our small-group journeys.

  • Yes. For every woman who travels with us, Her Getaway Club donates $100 to a local NGO in the destination we visit, and every itinerary includes a visit to a project run by women or created for women. Learn more on our Giving Back page.

Our Trips

  • In 2027 we travel to North India for the Holi Festival (March 14 - 23), Colombia (June 27 - July 7), South India (September 13 - 21), Peru (October 11 - 20), Chile (October 22 - 29) and Tanzania (December 2 - 9). See every journey and the newest destinations on our Upcoming Trips page.

  • Our groups are small, with 6 to 14 women per trip. Club members can also choose to travel in an even smaller group of up to 8 like-minded women.

  • Every journey includes handpicked accommodations, private transportation, private airport transfers, local English-speaking guides, daily breakfast and the meals listed in the itinerary, entrance fees for the included activities, a visit to a women-led project, tips and gratuities, and all applicable taxes. Domestic flights are included when they are part of the itinerary. Each trip page lists exactly what is included.

  • International flights, travel and medical insurance (mandatory on every trip), and personal expenses such as extra drinks, snacks, shopping, phone calls and laundry. Anything not listed under “What’s Included” on the trip page is not included.

  • Our journeys are planned in double occupancy, so you share a room with another woman from the group. If you prefer a room of your own, add the Single Supplement when you book. The full Single Supplement amount is listed in the trip itinerary and is paid in full 3 months before the journey begins.

  • Our journeys are cultural trips at a comfortable, unhurried pace, not expeditions. How active each day is depends a lot on the type of journey: some include walks on uneven ground or stone steps, while others are gentler. Each trip page explains what to expect, and you can always ask us on a free call.

  • Yes, on several journeys. Optional extensions include 3 days in Rishikesh after North India, 5 days in Zanzibar after Tanzania, and 3 days in Punta Arenas and Tierra del Fuego after Chile. You can add them to your getaway when you book.

  • Small-group journeys of 6 to 14 women, focused on culture, food, nature, wildlife and wellness. Every trip includes private transportation, local English-speaking guides, handpicked accommodations and a visit to a women-led project, and tips are always included.

Booking & Payments

  • Choose your journey on our Upcoming Trips page and reserve your place with a $600 deposit at checkout. Not sure which trip is right for you? Take our Find Your Getaway quiz or book a free call with us.

  • The $600 deposit is non-refundable and guarantees your spot on the trip. The remaining payments are due 3 months before the journey begins, and the exact date is shown on each trip page.

  • Yes. Travel and medical insurance is mandatory on all our journeys and is not included in the trip price.

  • Yes. Tips and gratuities for the guides and drivers on your journey are always included, so you never have to think about them.

  • Of course. Book a free video call with us to share what you are looking for, ask anything about the trips, and find the journey that fits you best.

The Club & Contact

  • No. Our trips are open to all women, members or not. The Club is for women who want to be part of the community, help shape the journeys, and start connecting with their group before the trip.

  • Members help design upcoming trips, can choose to travel in a small group of up to 8 women, join monthly online meet-ups with their travel group, get priority and early access to new destinations, and receive a personalized travel kit before departure. Your membership fee is credited toward your next trip. Learn more on The Club page.

  • You can choose a 6-month or a 12-month membership on The Club page. When you book a trip, the full membership fee is applied as a credit toward it.
