Arrive in Cartagena and step into a world of color, history, and Caribbean charm.
After settling in, head out for a photogenic walking tour through the city’s vibrant streets, where colonial architecture, lively plazas, and local life set the tone for the journey ahead.
In the evening, gather for a welcome dinner in a vibrant setting, the perfect moment to meet your fellow travelers and begin this shared experience.
Day 2 - Rosario Islands Escape
Leave the energy of Cartagena behind as you set off by speedboat to the breathtaking Rosario Islands.
Surrounded by turquoise waters and white-sand beaches, the day unfolds at a relaxed pace. Snorkel among coral reefs, kayak through calm waters, or simply unwind under the sun. With a delicious island lunch and plenty of time to disconnect, this experience offers a perfect balance of nature, rest, and Caribbean beauty.
Day 3 - Flavors & Rhythm
Today is a full sensory immersion into Cartagena’s culture. Begin at the vibrant Bazurto market, where colors, sounds, and aromas create an authentic glimpse into local daily life.
Then, step into the kitchen for a hands-on cooking experience alongside local chefs, learning traditional recipes and the stories behind them. As the day transitions into evening, the rhythm of the Caribbean takes over with a lively salsa or champeta dance class, a joyful and energetic way to connect with the spirit of the destination.
Day 4 - From Coast to Capital
This morning, leave the Caribbean coast behind and fly to Bogotá, where a completely different atmosphere awaits.
Set high in the Andes, the capital offers a blend of history, creativity, and modern energy. Dive into Colombia’s cultural heritage through a fascinating emerald workshop experience, gaining insight into one of the country’s most iconic resources.
The day ends with a carefully curated dinner that highlights the diversity of Colombian cuisine, offering a deeper connection to the country’s flavors.
Day 5 - Coffee & Countryside
Journey into the lush mountains surrounding Bogotá for an authentic and immersive coffee experience.
At a local farm, you’ll follow the entire bean-to-cup process, from harvesting coffee cherries to understanding the craftsmanship behind each cup. Guided by local experts, this hands-on day connects you with the land, the people, and one of Colombia’s most important traditions, all set against a backdrop of stunning natural landscapes.
Day 6 - From Salt to Salsa
Begin the day with a vibrant and iconic Colombian lunch at Andrés Carne de Res, known for its lively atmosphere and bold flavors. Then shift into a completely different environment with a visit to the extraordinary Salt Cathedral, where relaxation and reflection take place deep underground.
As night falls, Bogotá comes alive. Step into its dynamic nightlife with a salsa evening filled with music, movement, and celebration.
Day 7 - Medellín & Art
Fly to Medellín, a city that has reinvented itself through creativity and innovation.
Upon arrival, explore its streets through an artistic lens, discovering Botero’s iconic sculptures and gaining insight into the city’s cultural transformation. This is a gentle yet inspiring introduction to Medellín, a place where history, resilience, and modern energy come together in a truly unique way.
Day 8 - The Royal City of Jaipur
Today is devoted to the extraordinary heritage of Jaipur.
Begin at magnificent Amber Fort, climbing to its hilltop setting before exploring ornate courtyards, gardens, corridors and the dazzling Hall of Mirrors.
Continue into Jaipur to visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, an extraordinary 18th-century astronomical observatory.
Later, experience another side of the Pink City through its markets. Discover jewelry, textiles, colorful bangles and bridal shops, with the opportunity to have traditional henna applied to your hands.
End the day with a traditional Rajasthani Thali dinner.
Day 9 - Holi, The Festival of Colors
Today, leave Rajasthan and fly north toward the foothills of the Himalayas.
From Dehradun, continue by road to Rishikesh, where green hills surround the sacred Ganges River and yoga, meditation and spiritual traditions have attracted travelers for generations.
Check into your riverside retreat and allow the pace of the journey to begin to change.
After days filled with cities, wildlife, color and celebration, Rishikesh invites you to slow down.
Day 10 - Into Rishikesh
Today, India celebrates Holi.
One of the country’s most joyful festivals, Holi welcomes spring with music, laughter, food and clouds of brightly colored powder.
Join the celebrations and experience this extraordinary tradition together. A morning filled with color, spontaneity and pure joy.
Later, leave the city behind for a visit to a private farmhouse set near the hills of Amber Fort. Meet rescued elephants living in peaceful surroundings and walk alongside them through the countryside, accompanied by the resident naturalists.
A wonderfully different day, moving from one of India’s liveliest celebrations to a quiet encounter in nature.
Day 11 - Yoga, The Beatles & The Ganges
Begin the day with yoga and meditation surrounded by the peaceful landscape of Rishikesh.
Explore some of the town’s spiritual and cultural landmarks, including Bharat Mandir and the iconic bridges spanning the Ganges.
Later, visit the legendary Beatles Ashram, where the band stayed in 1968 while studying Transcendental Meditation and experienced one of the most creative periods of their career.
As evening falls, gather beside the river for Ganga Aarti. Lamps, music, prayer and ritual come together in a ceremony that is deeply moving, regardless of faith or background.
One of those moments that stays with you long after the journey ends.
Day 12 - Pause, Restore & Reconnect
Today is intentionally slower.
Begin with yoga, meditation and sound healing, or join a gentle nature walk toward the pebble beach near the hotel.
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, rest by the river or choose from the hotel’s spa treatments.
After almost two weeks of discovery, today is about simply being present.
Gather again in the evening for dinner and one final night together in Rishikesh.
Day 13 - Farewell to India
Enjoy a final breakfast surrounded by the calm of Rishikesh.
There is time for a slow morning before beginning the journey back to Delhi International Airport for your flight home.
You leave with much more than photographs. The colors of Holi, the silence of the Taj Mahal at sunset, the thrill of the wilderness, the energy of Delhi, the traditions of Rajasthan and the peaceful rhythm of the Ganges.
And, perhaps most importantly, the memories created together along the way.

The rhythm of the trip is balanced and intentional. Some days are relaxed, with beach time, scenic walks, or lakeside moments, while others are more active, with markets, dancing, nature experiences, and cultural visits. You’ll want to pack for warm Caribbean days, cooler mountain weather, and colorful, expressive moments.
Bring light, breathable clothes for Cartagena and the Rosario Islands, such as sundresses, linen pieces, swimsuits, sandals, a hat, and sunglasses. For Bogotá, pack layers, the city sits at a higher altitude and can feel much cooler, especially in the mornings and evenings. For Medellín and Guatapé, comfortable casual outfits, light layers, and easy daywear work perfectly.
You’ll also want comfortable walking shoes for city tours, markets, Comuna 13, and countryside experiences, plus a nicer outfit or two for welcome and farewell dinners. Don’t forget swimwear, a cover-up, sunscreen, insect repellent, and something fun to dance in for the salsa or champeta experiences.

Part of the journey takes place in Bogotá, which sits at a higher altitude than Cartagena and Medellín. The itinerary is intentionally paced to allow time for rest, hydration, and adjustment, especially when we first arrive in the city. Most travelers adapt well, but it’s important to listen to your body, drink plenty of water, avoid overexerting yourself on the first day in Bogotá, and speak with your doctor before traveling if you have any concerns. Travel and medical insurance is mandatory for this trip, so you’ll need to have coverage in place before departure.
